Crisis -> Uganda Prepares For An Influx Of Burundian Refugees After A Fresh Wave Of Political Violence That Killed 87 People Last Week In Burundi

Uganda expects an influx of up to 100,000 refugees from Burundi in following fresh political violence that broke out in the country last week. Government says hundreds have already started streaming in. On Tuesday afternoon, stakeholders met the UK Minister for Africa James Duddridge at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in Kampala, to discuss the situation of refugees in Uganda. Burundi was at the heart of the discussion.
