#Champ -> Leicester’s Mahrez Crowned Best African Player For 2016 By GLOCAF Awards


Algeria’s Riyad Mahrez has been named “African Footballer of the Year” at the 25th edition of the GLOCAF Awards on Thursday night in Abuja. The 25-year old Mahrez beat Gabon skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who scooped the prestigious accolade last year and Senegal’s Sadio Mane.
